Greetings from Los Angeles! I took my first ever road trip down to my dad's hometown this past weekend. Here's a picture of me at a landmark in L.A., Bob's Big Boy. I guess soon, I'll be Dex Big Boy.

On a more joyous note, it was the first time that I had met my dad's father, Carlos. Carlos is my grandfather and in Tagalog grandfather translates to "Lolo". I thought I caught my dad tear up at the sight of me being held by my Lolo, it really was a very cool moment since I officially gave Carlos the title of Lolo.

Here's a shot of my Lola, Lolo and me.

Another first; I got to meet my uncle Victor (my dad's brother). Here he is giving me a little hold early in the morning before he went to work. He's so thoughtful, he went and bought me some handmade wooden cars for me to play with. He told me that he's gonna give me one of his 1960's powder blue Mustangs! All right, I can't wait to get it! Wait a minute...what's a Mustang?

Great group shot here. My Lola is holding Randall and I'm being held by Randall's mom, Ginny. Ginny being my dad's cousin. Randall's only a couple of months old, but he's got a lot more hair than me. *Sigh*

Lola holding me and having a good laugh.

Tita Nini (my Lola's sister) enjoying my cuteness. I love how she loves me.

Here's a group shot of my uncle Victor, Tita Nini and my mom. So many people want to take pictures with me and my mom! It's like I'm a celebrity and the paparazzi are chasing me down.

This is a candid shot of my Lolo and my Lola holding me. This last picture really made my dad proud. He says that he is glad that his dad finally got to meet me and to hold me...he even hugged me for a looooonnng time when I first showed up at their house! And now I can finally say that I have now met all of my grandmas, grandpas, aunties, uncles...maybe one of these days I'll meet every single-dingle cousin too!

Remember this hat? I do and I like it.

I'm getting real good at taking baths. I mean, real good at having someone else wash me.

Grandma Carolyn took me and my mom out for lunch the other day. It was a pleasant break from my usual routine.

My dad tried to be artsy with this next picture. Just turned out looking like a mug shot, don't you think?

The old man caught me off guard on this next picture. Looks kind of neat.

Bed time now. See you all soon!

Hey all, this is an early morning picture. Coffee is for the weak, I'm on more of a natural high.

I just love to be smothered with kisses. Even if it's from my own papa.

Someone should tell the old man that he needs a shave. Feels stubbly when he kisses me. Yuckadoodle-doo.

I'm not sure if I can get any cuter. I'm trying to hide my cuteness, but it's sooooo hard to cover up.

My mom took a ferry ride into the city the other day with some good friends. Here I am with Elizabeth (my godmother Kirstyn's mother!).

And another friend, Louetta, holding my hand while I'm on my mom's lap on the ferry.

Must keep blogging...but so sleepy...must keep my peeps happy with new photos of my mug...I'll just post one mo...zzzzz...

Mom took a picture of the Morton Street Gang. The back row is Conard (holding the day's supply of Pabst Blue Ribbon), Joselyn and my dad. In the front row are Charlotte and Otto (Joselyn and Conard's kids) and little old me. We got quite the commune at Morton Street, what with all of us kids!

Here's my dad trying to get me to learn some circus moves. He thinks that since he plays the accordion, that I can be his little entertainment monkey. I don't know about that.

All in all, I'm pretty tight with my pops.

Check out my new toy! It's called a Bumper Jumper. I'm still trying to figure out how it works, but I'll get it down soon enough.

A visit from two uncles in one week. Now what are the chances? My dad's older brother, CJ, came by our house to have dinner with us on Friday night. It was a kick off to the Labor Day weekend, cause, you know, I've been laboring a lot lately and I need a day off.

After dinner, we had to have a picture in the living room. I feel very comfortable in the living room.

We went to brunch on Sunday. MMmmmm ricotta pancakes for dad, spinach/goat cheese/bacon omelet for my mom. Of course, I didn't eat any of those dishes, hence my look of utter despair.

I figure if I'm not gonna eat anything, then I'm going to sleep.
