It's the end of 2007. The year has had it's share of ups and downs, and I think the best thing to say is that we're glad that it's over. Watching Dexter grow in itself has been the greatest thing for us. That said, here is our jolly little Dexmas on Christmas morning.

Dexter got quite a few musical instruments as gifts. One particular instrument that he took to right out of the box was a harmonica.

When all is said and done, when all the gifts were opened, our little friend must have been wondering, "what next?"

Suzie, Dexter and Grandma Carolyn went up to Sonoma before Christmas to visit Tonia and Blake. I'm not sure, but I think Dexter drove part of the way to their house.

Blake had to remind Dexter that he was merely borrowing the car.

Here is Blake and Dexter re-creating the infamous Don Perata car-jacking that happened a few days ago. Please note, this is just a re-creation.

We went to a get together of old San Francisco friends. A few of us have known each other for a number of years and have watched our families grow. Here, in the top row, are Ava, her mom Tiffany, Stephanie and her daughter, Sophia (holding Dexter) and Sophia's brother, Aidan.

How cute! Sophia wanted to pick up Dexter. She got a taste of just how hefty our little guy is getting.

We hope you all have a great 2008. See you next year!

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why, Santa Dexter is coming to town! Hope everyone is having a great holiday. I can tell you this: Dexter has been good all year. From our little family to yours, we hope you're having a great Christmas, Hanukkah, Festivus, etc.

Every day, Dexter does something to melt our hearts. Most of the time, it's the way he looks since he is so darned cute.

Whenever he looks so cute, we want to scoop him up and hug him with all our might.

Brunch in San Francisco today. We met up with Uncles Rodney, Yancy and Rob and little Rocco.

If only this was in 3D. Dexter planted a big old kiss on me while I was filming him.

Uncle Victor gave Dexter a nifty rocking horse for his 1st birthday in April. Dexter is fully enjoying it now that he can climb on it without any assistance.

Ride 'em, Cowboy Dexter! Santa's gotta be really proud (like we are!).

I could bore you all by talking about work and how the end of the year is mind-numbingly busy. But I won't. When Lola was here last, she got to see Dexter and his brand new Christmas tree. The soft lighting is an extra added bonus of having light come from behind.

Yes, it's the holidays. One tradition here is the Lighted Yacht Parade in the Oakland Estuary. It started off slow, but then it got better. I tried my hardest to get some good pictures, but it was way to dark to capture the festively decorated yachts.

And what kind of blog entry would this be if we didn't have some kind of crazy picture of Dexter? Whatever he did (whether he broke something or lost something) he sure seems sorry, doesn't he?
